Summary


The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for an established, growing business in the Thornton area.

Management Accountant salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Management Accountant hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.10pm

Management Accountant Roles and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management information
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns of year accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts and support with year-end audit procedures
  • Processing bank reconciliations
  • Purchase Ledger functions including processing supplier payments
  • Credit Control activities including chasing overdue accounts where required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and procedures
  • Any ad-hoc tasks or projects as and when required



The ideal Management Accountant will be:

  • This role would suit an AAT Fully qualified / part qualified or fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
    Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Management principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software packages
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Confident and proactive
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and communication skills
