An exciting new role for a Band 7 community dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetic team at Broomfield Hospital , Chelmsford .

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident dietitian to join our Community Team . A car driver will be essential to this role .

You will be part of the wider dietetic team at Broomfield with many different specilaities . You will work alongside another Band 7 community dietitian and also a Band 5 dietitian part time who has community as part of their role . We also have 2 Dietetic assistants and Admin to support the team .

The role will include supporting a wide range of patients in care homes and their own homes across Mid Essex

This will involve nutritional support , Home Enteral feeding for all those patients who require this care across the Mid Essex area. This will involve telephone call clinics, care home visits and patients own homes . There will also be a lot of input for training within care homes to help support them to provide good nutritional care to their clients . A care driver therefore is needed for this role .

The role will also be to support junior members of the team and to be involved in training, both colleagues , other health professionals and also helping to develop the community service so that we can deliver a good, safe and quality service to all our patients .
