Summary
Step Teachers, a preferred supplier for schools across East Anglia, we are working with a school in a small town in High Suffolk that is looking for a Geography Teacher, full-time starting in September 2024.
The school has a strong history dating back more than 500 years. They continue to thrive and adapt to the modern approaches to education, they are keen to welcome a Geography Teacher to the team and continue to contribute to the schools' ongoing attainment and rich heritage.
Role of a Geography Teacher:

Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography

Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons

Maintain an organized and professional classroom with all of the associated resources

Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school

Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback

Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Requirements of a Geography Teacher:

Hold QTS or equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school

Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Geography Teacher
-
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
-
A relevant Geography degree is desirable
-
SEND experience is desirable
