Summary
The Best Connection are delighted to advertise a brand new opportunity for Production Operative to join a trusted and successful wholesale supplier based in Arundel! This role is ideal for reliable candidates looking for a full-time role to keep them busy over the summer ready to start immediately.
The key duty will be to assist with the general production line which includes selection of stock for orders, order checking and labelling, preparation of plants for packing, packing of orders, and arranging onward dispatch.
Although training will be provided, an individual in a similar role and/or understanding would be ideal.
Production Assistant duties will include: Selecting, collecting, preparing plants for despatch, labelling, packing and cling wrapping following procedure as instructed Machine potting, planting, setting plants down, supplying with pots and plants. Hand potting of young plants or final pots Filling trays, collecting, preparing, and sticking in the cuttings General stock control, checking in and out orders Requirements: Candidates must have their own transport due to the location of the role Ability to work in a fast paced environment Excellent attention to detail Hours: Monday to Friday - shifts vary any time from 7am up to 8pm
Pay: £11.44 per hour paid on a weekly basis.
