Purpose of the role




To provide effective, pro-active management of Clients inventory both physically and on the WMI system to ensure that the
information that both contain is consistent and accurate. Working closely with the Warehouse Team and Full Service Inventory Team
to ensure optimum inventory accuracy, availability and management allowing effective utilisation of warehouse capacity, ensuring
that Client expectations are met.







Key Responsibilities




• Working with Warehouse Team Leaders to investigate and resolve inventory queries, if unresolved then raise and process NCR’s.




• Ensure all NCR’s are shared with the Full Service Inventory Team (if applicable) and Client appropriately; and follow up on any
Client related request/enquiry. Collate and key the relevant data.




• Effective control and management of the Batch Release process, ensuring inventory is locked and released as per Clients’
instructions.




• Effective management of client’s inventory which includes status changes for damage or obsolete items.




• Working pro-actively with the Client and the related Account Manager to ensure correct disposal of Client product as efficiently
as possible.




• Address all inventory related Client, Goods In and Returns enquiries/queries, providing optimum solution as quickly and
efficiently as possible.




• Creation and maintenance of WMS master data with relevance to operational usage only.




•Action any Batch Recalls as per Clients’ requirements, working closely with Returns Team and ensuring Client is updated on
progress on a regular basis until recall is complete.




• Run a variety of reports to use as an effective business tool to assist in effective management of the above tasks, working
continually and closely with the Warehouse Teams to continually drive effective inventory management.




• Develop a good understanding of both WMS to effectively manage and control the inventory.




• Carry out all duties in accordance with the requirements of Good Distribution Practice.




• Highlight any critical level or serious issues to the departmental manager.




• Undertake any other reasonable duties/request as requested by the Warehouse Management Team.




Experience/Skills Required




• PC Literate, with a real interest in IS systems 




• Understanding of effective inventory management and ability to identify non-conformance to     procedures




• Trained in Good Distribution Practice




• Knowledge of warehouse management systems – WMI preferable




• Understanding of warehouse activities related to inventory management – goods in/picking/returns




• Pro-active approach to Client Management




• Pro-active approach to issue resolution 




• Numerate and able to disseminate and interpret data accurately




• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative as determined by business needs




• Work to time sensitive deadlines




• Flexibility to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business.




• Communication skills of the highest standard




• Attention to detail
