The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons to students. They will create a supportive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their development. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

A relevant degree in Mathematics or Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Prior experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level

Strong understanding of the national curriculum for mathematics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Effective classroom management abilities

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Mathematics

The Mathematics Teacher will work in a school setting following the academic calendar. They may be required to participate in extracurricular activities and attend staff meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
