Summary

NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER, SHERWOOD STREET CENTRE, MANSFIELD, PERMANENT, SALARY: £12,221 - £12,446 PRO-RATA (F3-AD2 £24,442- £24,892 FTE), 18.5HPW
Sherwood Street Centre is a 24-hour hostel service that provides 15 units of core accommodation for 15 individuals with complex needs and 62 units of dispersed housing in the community.
This vacancy is for our 24 – hour supported accommodation service working the night shifts, shift times 9:15pm -08:15am salary includes 7.5%-night enhancement between 10pm and 7am.
The candidates will need to have an understanding of issues faced by people affected by homelessness, and an awareness of support needs of clients who have complex needs.
The main functions of these roles are;
• To ensure that clients and the building are safe and secure
• To build the skills and confidence of service users to empower them in maximising their independence
• To enable people to move on and resettle from the service in a timely and appropriate way.
• To contribute to the aims of the service
• To work in partnership with other agencies to maximise service delivery
