Summary
The Safeguarding Team at University Hospitals Dorset is seeking to recruit an experienced team administrator.
The post holder(s) will contribute to the general daily activities of the office including supporting the Head of Safeguarding in coordinating the general day to day administration of the team.
To succeed in this role you will need to possess good communication skills and have a passion to deliver outstanding service to our patients. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements together with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Good team skills are also an essential requirement.
Shift Patterns: 5 days x 7.5 hrs or 5 days x 6 hrs
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Please be aware you will need to work across site.

The post holder(s) will contribute to the general daily activities of the office including
• responding to telephone and email enquiries from internal and external partners
• coordinating administration for the Safeguarding Team
• data inputting involved for audit and CQC purposes
• adding information to patients medical records to ensure staff are enabled to maintain patient safety
• Supporting and preparing information for reports and presentations
• supporting clerical aspects of policy and guidance documents
• plus other specific key activities that are the responsibility of the Safeguarding Team.
There will be a requirement to deal sensitively with adult and child safeguarding liaison/communication as required but training will be provided.
This role will support the Head of Safeguarding in coordinating the general day to day administration of the team.
