Summary

SEN School in Lambeth is currently looking to recruit x 2 Classroom Assistants to join them in September 2024. (Contract Length - 1 academic year)

The SEN school based in the London Borough of Lambeth is looking for 2 x Classroom Assistants to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2024. The role will be working on a 1:1 basis supporting children within the mainstream classroom and Autism Unit.

Experience of working with children or adults with SEN, particularly autism (ASD/ASC) and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) is a MUST.

Experience using PECS (picture exchange communication system), Makaton (Language communication program) is desirable,

The role will involve working with pupils that are living with ASD and/or PMLD Assisting students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis. Some aspects of personal care is required.
- 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism/Severe Learning Difficulties
- £375-£500 per week, paid weekly
- Holiday Pay paid when schools are on school holidays
- Full or part time position (Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 4 pm)
