Summary

Your Job Role: Senior in Audit
To lead onsite audits to a standard set by the Institute of Chartered Accounts England and Wales in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and ISA’s, at a level ready for review by an Audit Manager, with the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

Responsibilities
• Supporting the planning & completion of audits for a wide and varied client portfolio
• Undertaking a full range of audit tasks including planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting
• Lead the planning and reviewing of on-site audit assignments
• Assisting with the effective progression and completion of audit tasks for final Manager and Partner review
• Drafting of audit completion reports as well as preparing and reviewing statutory financial reports
• Coach and mentor junior within the team both in the field and in the office
• Attending post audit client meetings if required
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Working with the Senior Manager and Managers to ensure the continued efficiency of the department
• Preparing financial statements for Limited Companies & the corporation tax computations for review by the Tax department, as required
• Assisting junior team members both on site and in the office
• Customer Service Delivery – dealing with queries and all forms of correspondence and modes of communications from and to clients
• Using CCH practice software for Accounts , Audit and Corporation Tax
• Follow all office procedures and best practice
• Various ad-hoc duties across the department

• Good understanding and experience of Word and Excel Skills, Outlook and Powerpoint
• Understanding of IT systems


Desirable Qualifications/Skills
• Ideally you will be an ACCA/ACA studier/newly qualified
• CCH experience
