This position involves providing analysis, insight, and other information support services to the functions of Strategic Commissioning and Market Excellence. This helps inform our decision making, planning, risk identification, performance management and evaluation. We establish new information routes and methods which will fill gaps in the Council’s knowledge of the market and help improve the overall effectiveness of our services.

What we are looking for:

NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Finance and/or a relevant BTEC National Certificate or equivalent experience in a performance support setting
Proven experience of providing a wide range of administrative and business functions to a team
Experience of contract management report systems
Advanced experience of using key components from Microsoft Office (Excel; Word; PowerPoint) to present key reports and information relevant to the service
The ability to operate within work procedures to complete high quality business and administrative functions, including contributing to and supporting meetings with contracted providers
Have a high degree of commitment, self-motivation, proactivity, and initiative.
Be able to demonstrate a solution focused approach
Have good oral and written communication skills
