Summary

We are a privately funded large business employing more than 250 people that is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth after recently acquiring a new multi-million pound manufacturing facility and securing a large number of high value nationwide contracts. As a Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate financial operations of our company. You will collaborate with various departments to support financial processes and maintain compliance with financial regulations.


Day-to-day duties including but not limited to:
You will report to the Finance Manager
Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders using the company’s bespoke, in-house software system
Reconciling supplier statements
Dealing with supplier queries
Arranging regular payment runs
Maintaining the ledger & keeping supplier account details up to date
Other ad hoc finance assistance as required (including sales ledger and purchase ledger processing)

Essential skills and Experience:
Qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience working within a purchase ledger or similar finance role
Proficiency in standard office software – especially Excel
Experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar bookkeeping software
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Eligible to work in the UK

What we offer:
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (depending on experience)
Typical working hours: 08:30-17:00 (40 hours per week)
Annual holiday entitlement in any holiday year is 28 days, inclusive of all public holiday entitlement. Following the completion of 5 years’ continuous service, holiday entitlement will increase by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays.
