Summary
We have many positions available for experienced Care Assistants! Apply today and interview tomorrow for an ONGOING opportunty with WEEKLY PAY and FLEXIBLE HOURS.
The home is based in Ilkeston and accommodates up to 41 elderly service users that suffer with Alzheimer’s. There are themed areas throughout the home with a variety of activities to keep the service users engaged.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will follow personalised care plans and ensuring the Health and Safety of the residents as well as;
- Observing the residents and their conditions
- Showering/ strip washing and bed bathing the service users
- Toileting the service users
- Recording fluid intakes and other duties.
You will be actively encouraging the residents to live a happy lifestyle and to be as independent as they possibly can. Most importantly you will just be a friend to the residents and be there for them when they need you.

To demonstrate your suitability for the role for a Care Assistant, you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This is an ongoing oportunity
Typical working hours will be:
Early 08:00-14:00
Late 14:00-22:00
Long day 08:00-22:00
Night: 20:00-08:00
As a care assistant you will be paid:

£12.00 per hour for Nights
