Summary
Your new company
Hays Education are working with a busy secondary school in Derby who are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to join their learning support team on a full-time basis asap.
Your new role
Within this role, you will be working alongside the secondary learning support team to provide 1:1 assistance. You will be responsible for managing behaviour and providing a safe learning environment throughout the school.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is confident assisting in this capacity and is able to hit the ground running!
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires:
- Previous SEND experience
- Strong behaviour management strategies
- A flexible and holistic approach
- Ability to build rapport quickly
