Summary


An exciting opportunity to join our rheumatology nursing team and learn whilst supporting our patient cohort with a focus on early inflammatory arthritis.

The Rheumatology Associate CNS will be a support nurse working with the Rheumatology CNS team in all areas of care.

The focus of the role will be the Early Inflammatory Arthritis pathway.

We provide high quality, timely patient care and education working together with the patient and the multi-disciplinary team in order to achieve optimum outcomes.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality, patient centred compassionate care under the direction of a Band 7/8 Rheumatology CNS Registered Nurse. This position will focus on the management of the patients who are on the Early Inflammatory Arthritis Pathway supporting with drug initiation, patient support and promoting health and independence. The core element of the role is management of the National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit (NEIAA). They will be an accountable professionally and could work without direct supervision; within the parameters of practice by undertaking a range of duties appropriate to the level of responsibility and knowledge and skills acquired.
