As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will spread your time across supporting targeted learners alongside teachers, though with a secondary eye on whole-class harmony, and working outside the classroom in both small group settings and in a 1:1 capacity in preparation for GCSE exams. Your role will also involve assisting alongside laboratory technicians, and in the preparation of Science practicals, as well as helping with the delivery of experiments. Learn from a dedicated and experienced department to simultaneously apply and develop your existing skillset, within the subject of your academic passion.

Join their state-of-the-art Science department, decked with the newest equipment and machinery following extensive investment, maximising the potential of practical lessons, and inspiring over 10% of last year’s cohort to opt for a Science-based subject in their A-Level applications. The school places huge emphasis on the importance of the sciences as part of every student’s success: without a thorough understanding and interest of the subject, they feel that students may be missing out on essential knowledge that will aid them for years to come.

The role is suited to Science graduates who will be completing their university course this summer and are passionate about pursuing a role within the education sector. Previous experience is desirable, however the school is on the lookout for potential in candidates that can be moulded to make outstanding education practitioners.
