Summary
TeacherActive are excited to employ a new science teacher to join our team, this can be on either a full time or part time basis. We are looking for a confident and personable individual who will plan and deliver innovative and interactive lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (KS3 / KS4)
The position will include supporting the students academically and providing multiple assessments throughout the year to track the student’s progress, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful Science Teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with SEND students.
The successful Science teacher needs to have:
• QTS with a Science specialism
• Experience teaching Maths up to KS4 / Key Stage 4
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• A DBS on the update service
