Summary


The Integrated Community Stroke & Neurorehabilitation Service (ICSNRS) are looking to recruit an apprentice administrator to provide comprehensive administration support to the multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for a confident and dynamic individual that displays a genuine commitment to the Trusts values. The post holder will be well organised, with good inter-personal skills and have the ability to work autonomously and also be a team player. The successful candidate will also complete a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship over 15 months alongside their role within the service. The post holder will work at Band 2 pay scale until they have completed their apprenticeship, when they will then move to Band 3 pay scale.

A flexible approach to work is essential due to the changing needs of the service, requiring the ability to multitask and re-prioritise workloads as required.





The post holder will provide a high-quality administration service to the clinical team and senior management team. As the first point of contact into the service, you will take telephone calls from patients, relative and other healthcare professionals. The role incorporates a variety of tasks including using multiple computer systems; EMIS and Nexus and MS packages such as Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Other duties include general administration, arranging appointment bookings and cancellations, providing MDT support and compiling reports using excel.

As part of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, we are a community service covering Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre, based at Ansdell Medical Centre.

Providing a high-quality administration service, the post holder will be part of an administration team acting as a central point of contact for staff and patients. The role incorporates a variety of tasks including, using multiple computer systems e.g., EMIS, Hospital systems NEXUS and MS Packages such as Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Other duties include acting as the first point of contact for all calls into the Service, arranging appointments, providing MDT support, minute taking and organising room bookings.
