Summary


As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.

You will supervise and teach junior members of staff and learners as required, and maintain own personal development with support.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a large team, but also capable of planning your own work.

Assist the registered nurse to provide nursing care for endoscopy patients.

Demonstrate the department / directorate philosophy of care.

Respect patient confidentiality.

Work under the supervision of the registered nurse with continuing responsibility for the department which will include the decontamination area, procedure rooms, recovery and admission area
