Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Registered Nurse to join theGynaecology Outpatient Department at Newham UniversityHospital, Barts Health within the Women and Children’s Division.



The post holder will work within the Outpatient nursing team, supporting the outpatient clinics of Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Urodynamics and other general Gynaecology clinics including Oncology.

You will be expected to:



Provide excellent nursing care, for patients having gynaecological procedures, safely utilising electronic equipment and mechanical/manual equipment when required.



Undertake and record clinical activities of patients, including the safe sending of specimens to the laboratory as well as assisting the medical team with patient care planning and follow up.



Have excellent communication skills.



Be flexible and reliable.



Be a committed team player.
