Summary
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis starting 2nd September 2024.
• 18 hours per week, term time only
• 8:30am – 1:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
• Grade 4, SCP 04-05 £23,114 - £23,500 pro rata
• Actual salary for 18 hours, term time only £9,428 - £9,585
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks in class and in small groups to support development in Literacy, Maths and all other curriculum areas, as well as supporting the Teacher within the classroom. The role also includes a 30 minute lunch duty which will involve assisting the children either in the lunch hall, or outside on the field and playground.
Ideally you’ll be able to demonstrate some experience of dealing with primary aged children, which may be through work or personal experience. You will need to be flexible and happy to work in a team and show initiative and independence. A sense of humour and the ability to work with others sensitively are both essential.
