We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technican / Operative who has experience carrying out plumbing / electrical maintenance and repairs to properties.
Working as the Building Maintenance Technican / Operative you will join a team that carry out repairs and preventative maintenance to a portfolio of residential properties around the Lambeth area.
As the Building Maintenance Technican / Operative you will need to have good problem-solving skills and some previous experience maintaining buildings and facilities. You will also need excellent customer service skills and a full driver’s licence.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Building Maintenance Technican / Operative include:
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of the facility
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building infrastructure and equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including reports and documentation
• Collaborate with other team members and external contractors as needed
• Assist in planning and implementing building improvement projects
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and carrying heavy objects
• Valid driver’s license
