Summary
Overview:
MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Manual centre lathe operator/setter for a long-standing machinery company in Netherton. An established local company who supplies customers globally.
Duties:
• Carefully studying drawings for job orders
• Quality inspecting customers work to verify specifications.
• Adjusting and setting onsite machines
• Programming mills and lathes
• Using Fanuc lathes and Heidenheim mills
• Some products are heavier than others so you will be expected to operate with a variety.
The ideal candidate needs:
• Will have experience with centre lathes, with the ability to programme.
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 1pm
Full Time
Temp to Perm
Pay:
£12.50 - £17.00 per hour
This is depending on experience with options to advance in the future.
About MET:
