Summary
This small and friendly team based near Guildford are looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a fixed term (maternity cover) basis to work with two of their biggest clients.
This firm prides themselves on working with clients to reach their goals and own their finances, whether that’s a small business owner looking to take their business to the next level, a not-for-profit in need of an audit, or someone looking for personal tax advice and financial support.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
• Produce profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, management accounts and assist in the production of the annual budgets and forecasting.
• Calculation, presentation, and payment of VAT.
• Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost effective operation.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key.
• Management accounts and bookkeeping experience, as well as proven technical ability (ideally with prior use of Xero and Sage).
• Ability to manage workload and maintain client expectations.
