Summary

Our client is a growing technology organisation based in Farnborough, Hampshire who are seeking their first HR Manager in the UK. They are a part of a larger global business. You will be supporting 50 current employees in the UK with the current recruitment trajectory pointing towards 70 over the coming year. This role will suit someone that is happy to be part of a collaborative leadership team and be onsite in Farnborough during this exciting time of growth. SME experience is key for this role.


The role
Our client is seeking a proactive HR Manager who can bring a lot of potential to the business to help and enable them to grow. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the people function across the organisation, including employee engagement, talent management, performance management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the people function, developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent across the organisation.
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, supporting managers to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that vacancies are filled in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring that the organisation is an equal opportunity employer.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a People Manager or HR Manager, with a strong understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • Experience of working within a SME organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, talent management, and performance management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
