The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Radiology directorate is a dynamic and exciting department, that includes the Royal Free Hospital (Hampstead), Barnet General Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and Satellite Sites such as Finchley Memorial Hospital, Edgware Community Hospital, Hadley Wood Hospital and Potters Bar Community Hospital. The Royal Free London is also host to one of the Community Diagnostic Hubs (CDH) which will be based at the Finchley Memorial Hospital. This brings exciting change and opportunities to develop in the field of ICT, DICOM, PACS and RIS management. The PACS/ RIS team is responsible for the day-to-day management of the PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), VR (Voice Recognition) and the Cardiac and Nuclear Medicine PACS clinical information systems. It’s a busy, fast-paced environment and suit a candidate with excellent communication and IT skills who pays close attention to detail and enjoys multi-tasking. The candidate will be an important part of the PACS and RIS administration team and will be integrally involved in driving forward the key objectives for the coordination and management of radiology image transfers under the leadership of senior PACS administrators and Operations Managers
