Then keep reading, as at Teaching Personnel we are looking for individuals to work within a School setting in the Penarth area from 2nd September 2024.



What am I applying for?

The job role would involve working as a Teaching Assistant for a number of different aged children. The school is a 3-19 aged school, so can be very varied. Within the school, there are a lot of children which require more 1:1 support, especially with communication and building their confidence. Some children you will be working with will have Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, therefore really benefit from individuals which have a good understanding of mental health and challenging behaviour. You will be responsible for keeping the children engaged in tasks, whilst also using your creative flare by creating activities and getting involved in the whole curriculum.

- An enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can help you obtain one of these)

- Register or be willing to register with the Education Workforce Council as a School Learning Support Worker
