Job Description:

As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you'll play a crucial role in providing support to students with a wide range of additional, associated, and sometimes complex needs. These may include conditions such as ADHD, ADD, ODD, Tourette's Syndrome, mental health difficulties, language and learning difficulties, and Asperger's Syndrome or those on the Autistic Spectrum.

Requirements:
- Full-time availability is essential; part-time applications will not be considered.
- Possession of a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one before employment.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings. Experience in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) or behaviour support is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students facing behavioural challenges.
- Implementing tailored strategies and interventions to promote positive behaviour management.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, offering regular feedback to stakeholders.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that prioritises emotional well-being and academic success.
