Summary
Rapier Employment are looking for a Senior First Aider to join the team at a well-known school in Wallingford on a temporary maternity cover basis.
Salary:£12.80 - £13.93 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: 37 hours per week - term time only + inset days.
Duties to include and are not limited to:
- Provision of medical/first aid care to students/staff.
- Replenish Medical Supplies.
- Storage of students' own presecribed medication.
- On site treatment of minor ailments/injuries.
- Provision of first aid packs to leaders of school trips.
- Operation of a medical records system.
- Keeping daily record of students seen and treatments given.
- Prepating and completing individual care plans for students with special medical needs in partnership with other health professionals, parents and the student as appropriate.
- Liase with the school health nurse.
- Distribute health education to members of the school.
Required:
- Have or obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Experience of working within a people related environment.
- Have good people skills and relate well to young people and adults.
- Be well organised, self-motivated and with good time management skills.
