Summary

THE WILD PIG is an award winning butchery, delicatessen and smokehouse surrounded by 80 acres of working farmland. We are the first farm in the world to be TSG approved and we have been awarded for welfare excellence by Compassion in World Farming.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop an established artisan food business. This is a very hands-on role assisting the shop manager with responsibility for:
- Expanding the product offering and diversifying the brand
- Delivering exceptional customer service and presentation
- Maintaining highest levels of hygiene, health and safety
- Managing stock including ordering, pricing, rotation and POS
- Responding to all enquiries and feedback
We are looking for:
- Vibrant personality and great communication skills
- Passion for artisan food, wine and provenance
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Self motivation and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong team work ethic with flexible hours
- Confident computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Previous relevant experience is essential
