Summary
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated healthcare support worker with an interest in paediatrics to join our forward thinking and friendly Childrens Allergy department. This post will be based at St Marys Hospital, to support the clinical delivery of the Food Allergy service. You will have the opportunity to work as part of the Childrens Allergy team. You will be required to have excellent communication, administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills to support the departments paediatric allergy service. The role of the healthcare support worker will work as part of the Childrens Allergy team providing care to children and families and carers with allergic conditions. This will include clinical duties, administrative support and preparation of foods as part of our oral food challenge service. The duties will be supervised by a qualified member of the team. To join us in providing our patients with the best possible experience and care, you must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. You will be given all the support and training you need to develop the skills needed to look after our patients.
