Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 multi-drop driver to join our team in the Worksop area. As a you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid driver's license and experience in multi-drops is adventurous.
Working Monday-Friday starting between 04:00 – 06:00 with a possible night out.
£13.50-£15 per hour
£25 night out
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
-Multi drop deliveries
-Curb-side deliveries with general haulage
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
What we need from you:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with multi drops
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo safely
- Good communication and customer service skills
