Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager for our privately owned 20 bed elderly care home based in Plymstock, Plymouth.

The Retreat Care home is a 400 year old grade 2 listed building which provides a homely, peaceful and tranquil environment to all those in our care.
Rated good by CQC.

The ideal applicant will be someone who:

* Holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care
* Has Previous RM experience within a care home for the elderly.
* Is able to commit to full time hours including some weekends and evenings
* Has confidence using computers/technology.
* Is confident with CQC inspections.

A confident leader who is passionate about providing excellent person centred care and is able to time manage and delegate effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities

*Promoting positive and Person-Centred Care for all Residents.
* Managing risk appropriately and safely.
*Leading and developing staff across all departments within the home.
*Ensuring all staff are trained to the required levels.
*Implementing and managing audits and care plans.
*Employee relations, including staff communications, managing absence, disciplinaries , grievances and sickness.
*Actively ensuring the Home has the highest possible level of occupancy by utilising links with the local community, and positively marketing the Home.
* Managing medication.
