Further information:

A friendly, patient and down to earth Personal Assistant is required to support a happy and talkative 13-year-old girl living in the HU6 area of the City. Your role will be to support the girl with activities which she enjoys, such as getting her nails done, and going swimming, to the park or to the cinema The girl has autism and global development delay. You will be very aware that she has no health and safety awareness, particularly whilst crossing the road and “stranger danger” and you must ensure her health and safety is of paramount importance at all times

“Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.”

Experience is not essential as training will be given. A car driver would be preferred but it’s not essential.
