Production operator / Labourer

Temp to Perm
Working hours 8am - 4.30pm
Monday to Friday
Hourly pay rate : £11.64
Multi-tasking keen person needed to join small production. This role is for someone who is self-motivated and can work on it's own and as a part of existing team.
Daily duties are starting in production and by the end of the shift the work is in a warehouse. Ideal candidate must have good math skills to understand order notes/instructions, IT skills to update system regularly, ability to lift and have good attention to details as the quality of the products is essential.
This position will lead to permanent contract after completing successfully probation period. Once permanent the company offers great benefits including generous commission structure and bonus. You will be working in a friendly environment so positive attitude is important to maintain good teamwork. Career progression is available in the right opportunity arise.
Main Activities and responsibilities:
• Producing picking, moving, decanting, packing and despatching of paint and building materials.
• Stock control.
• Use of SAP production system.
• Stock taking.
• Mixing of paint colours to order.
• Use of computer programme/s for colour matching.
• Decanting finished materials.
• Additional duties as and when required by Management.
Skills and Knowledge required.
• Literacy and numeracy (minimum GCSE Grade C English, Mathematics)
• Sufficient fitness and strength to be able to lift and move up to 30kg tubs and bags
• Accuracy in counting and picking from warehouse
• Good verbal communication skills and in writing
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Reliability and Integrity.
• Must be able to use power tools.
• To be able to work well independently or as part of a team.
