An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our Ophthalmology nursing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member, previous Ophthalmology experience preferred but not essential. You must have a willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge, in our sub specialities.

Hinchinbrooke eye clinic is a busy, friendly department working closely with the multi disciplinary team. Qualities we are looking for include being a team player, with good interpersonal and communication skills. Awareness of NHS values, and an awareness of the current challenges facing the NHS. Clinically you will be expected to carryout initial assessment of the patient for a variety of clinic's. Develop skills to complete pre-op assessments, including biometry. Support clinicians in theatre during intravitreal injection procedure.

An empathetic and caring nature is essential, as our client group are often elderly and vulnerable.
