At Ludlow Primary School, we are dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to our students, including those with SEND. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing one-on-one support to students with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities that meet the individual needs of SEND students.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
• Collaborating with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to develop personalized learning plans and strategies for SEND students.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher to inform future planning and interventions.
Key Skills and Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with SEND, preferably within a school setting.
• A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and challenges.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with SEND.
