Role overview

We are looking for an incredible General Manager - Leasehold!



We have a really exciting opportunity for an incredible General Manager to join our Residential team, leading a team of Senior
Property Managers and Property Managers to deliver exceptional services for our customers in our Residential Leasehold properties.
This role will be responsible for all property management functions across our portfolio of over 75 developments, including more
than 10,000 apartments. The portfolio is a mix of high-end, large complex sites with communal leisure facilities and more
traditional residential developments. You will provide technical expertise on all areas of leasehold property management including
Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 & 1987, Building Safety Act 2002, Commonhold & Leasehold Reform 2002. You will also lead on the
operational delivery of our Property Management services, providing effective leadership to the team, fostering a culture of
excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Whatwill you do?

* To ensure delivery of a high quality, customer focused residential leasehold management service across our portfolio.

* Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to the property managers.

* Deliver regular technical updates, training sessions and technical talks to the Property Management team, ensuring the team is
aware of all current regulations and legislation, in our fast changing sector.
* Be the senior point of contact on all technical Property Management issues, supporting the team to provide satisfactory and
technically complaint resolutions to all issues.
* Support the wider team on their IRPM learning pathways, with the intention of all Property Managers achieving MIRPM and AIRPM
qualifications
* Implement a robust system of quality controlling all outgoing advice, correspondence, consultations and newsletters, ensuring
technical grammatical accuracy.
* Carry out quality control audits on all areas of Property Management such as site inspections, meeting minutes, client
reporting and compliance.
* Develop a supportive coaching environment, supporting all Property Managers and Senior Managers to continually improve their
technical knowledge and competency.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with our clients, ensuring that are fully informed of their obligations as Principal
Accountable Person.
* Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of all applicable fire, building and health & safety legislation, ensuring the
property management team is kept abreast of all applicable requirements.

* Review, develop and maintain clear policies and procedures for all Property Management functions, ensuring we are always
technically compliant, and striving for excellence.

* Support the continual improvement of our usage of MRI Qube, ensuring all records and data are up to date and accurate, and in
compliance with GDPR.



Whatare we looking for?

* Robust practical experience of managing complex high-rise buildings.

* Experience of managing multi-schedule, high value service charge budgets

* Practical experience of Building Safety Act compliance
* Experience of managing Major Works projects
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of residential leasehold management and all applicable legislation, regulations, and best
practice.
* Strong people management experience
* Tremendous drive, energy, and passion for delivering high quality, professional services.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex information to clients and colleagues.
* Positive and collaborative leadership skills, and a desire to drive positive change
* Membership of the Institute of Residential Property Managers (Essential)
* Associate Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Desirable)
