Summary
**Please note that the job description is currently being approved by the Royal College of Anaesthetists** We are seeking dynamic and motivated Anaesthetists to join our busy department, providing emergency and elective services. The roles encompass general fields of Anaesthesia across all hospital sites within the Trust. However, opportunities in specialised areas will be available based on appropriate expertise, such as airway management, maxillofacial surgery, vascular procedures, cardiology, obstetrics, major surgeries, renal transplants, regional anaesthesia, orthopaedics, robotic surgery, and urology. On-call emergency coverage will primarily be for the Guys site, covering thoracic, difficult airway, and renal transplant anaesthesia. However, if the candidates specialisation aligns better with the St. Thomas site, opportunities in vascular and gastrointestinal anaesthesia may be available. The post holder will be expected to actively participate in clinical and other service activities with the aim of ensuring a high standard of patient care. In addition to clinical duties, experience in education, teaching, training, governance, leadership, and research will be considered a significant advantage.
