If yes then the position of Sister/Charge Nurse on The Medical Assessment Unit at the Royal Bolton Hospital may interest you.

We are looking for leaders who embrace the Trust values. Ideally you should have experience in both acute medicine and medical assessment wards and have a wide range of clinical skills which will equip you to care for the acutely unwell patient.

We are a large multi disciplinary team with a commitment to staff training and development. In addition to clinical responsibilities, your role will support deputising for the Ward Manager this will include attending meetings, cascade training, supporting the wards to achieve their objectives and participating in activities to ensure that patients receive high quality care and a positive experience . A full induction and training will be provided on appointment.





You will be trained to coordinate the shift, ensuring that the environment is safe and prepared for patients waiting for assessment by the medical team. The ward is fast paced and you must have the ability to work under pressure and manage a large team of nurses and health care assistants.
