Summary
As the Lead Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of the NVCF project at Heathrow Airport, from the completion of the building shell by the build contractor through to the installation of air traffic systems. Initially, your focus will be on acting on behalf of the client in the handover acceptance process, including developing comprehensive handover documentation. Following handover, you will transition into managing the installation of air traffic systems, primarily data/fiber and electrical installations. A background in these fields is highly desirable, as is Heathrow/NATS security clearance. Additionally, you will be responsible for programme management, developing and maintaining a detailed programme of works that will be reported to all key stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be accountable for health and safety documentation, including the construction phase plan, risk assessments, method statements, permits, and security passes. We are looking for someone that has expereince in Industry recognised qualification, proven experience in project management, preferably within the construction or aviation industry, background in data/fiber and electrical installations is highly desirable. experience in managing security-sensitive projects and obtaining security clearance, particularly at Heathrow/NATS. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques and flexibility to travel as required.
