Summary


Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist who is committed to service development and dedicated to collaborative working looking to progress their career?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and passionate integrated orthopaedic therapy team on a 9 month fixed term contract, secondments will be considered.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced band 5 looking to progress in their career or an existing band 6 wanting to specialise in this dynamic clinical area.

Working within the clinical specialty of Trauma orthopaedics at The Royal Oldham Hospital on a rotational basis.

You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team, working within an integrated model of care to provide timely assessments, rehabilitation and support with discharge planning for our patients.

You will gain experience of working in a busy and pro-active environment where evidence based practice is embedded and joint working, service development and CPD is encouraged.

As a band 6 you will receive support from the band 7 team leader and peers. You will be expected to provide supervision to more junior staff and students.

The service operates over seven days and as such some weekend working is required as part of the role.
