Summary
Music Peripatetic Teacher – Voice
Part Time: hours dependent on number of students
Salary: hourly rate of £26.05
We are looking to recruit a part time inspirational and enthusiastic singing teacher to join our thriving music department.
The successful candidate must be able to deliver high quality vocal tuition, preparing students for ABRSM, LCM/Trinity Music Examinations throughout the grades. Ideally the successful candidate will be classically trained or with a focus on musical theatre to complement our team of teachers. They must be able to work with other members of the school’s Expressive Arts team in the preparation and presentation of school ensembles, productions and concerts.
The candidate will be driven to developing student engagement and involvement in the wider life of the music department and be able to encourage a life-long love of music and wider participation of music. The applicant should be focused and enthusiastic with the ability to enable all students to reach their highest potential. This includes being highly involved and contributing to student extra-curricular activities. A very good knowledge of technology is preferable. Training for department specific technology will be provided where required.
