Summary

We are looking to recruit a Renewable Technician to join our Bedford Depot and provide mobile support for our equipment.

Contract type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time - 45 hours

Job Role

Installation and calibration of renewable products on customer sites. Where required hard wiring of customer units to renewable products. Earthing of all required renewable products. Electrically Testing, Electrically Inspecting & Electrically certifying renewable products.
Completion of Site Handovers to customers, working with Product Support Coordinator to ensure a successful installation. Coaching site team members in the use of all renewable products. Completing a sign off on site to ensure all equipment is operable and site are aware of how to use, manage and maintain.
Regular completion of preventative maintenance, servicing, health checks, electrical checks, and Solar PV testing, in line with the companies’ guidelines and legislative requirements.
Complete all required repairs to renewable products as required.
Decommissioning of all renewable products at the end of hire on customers sites, including but not limited to disconnection of all power, decommissioning of products, battery management.
Essential Criteria

18th Edition Electrical
MBPA Level I & II certified
Earthing & Bonding qualified
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) certified
Generator Awareness certified
