The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to inclusive education and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
- Assume full teaching responsibilities for a diverse classroom of students.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Conduct assessments and provide timely feedback on student progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote a holistic approach to education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with SEN students.
- Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
