Our client is a is a forward-thinking SEN school dedicated to supporting boys and girls aged 5 to 16 with a range of special needs including social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural difficulties. The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to inclusive education and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full teaching responsibilities for a diverse classroom of students.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Conduct assessments and provide timely feedback on student progress.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to promote a holistic approach to education.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEN students.
  • Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
