Summary


#TeamUHD are looking for a medical recruitment officer to lead a team of medical recruitment administrators who are responsible for the recruitment of all Trust grade doctors and consultants within UHD.

This is a fast paced role with changing priorities and a varied workload. We're searching for someone with extensive experience of working within recruitment who understands NHS recruitment procedures and managing a team. Due to the complexity of medical recruitment, someone with previous experience/knowledge of working in a medical recruitment role would be ideal.

You will need to be an effective communicator as you'll be supporting managers of all levels within the trust and your team to carry out recruitment activity providing advice and guidance of fair recruitment practice and trust recruitment procedures.

In addition you will be supporting candidates to create a positive candidate journey through all stages on recruitment and through to onboarding. Experience of international recruitment and sponsorship would be advantageous.

Base Location: Yeoman's House, Yeomans Way

The main duties of the role Include:-

- Being responsible for the Medical Resourcing services across university Hospitals Dorset as part of the wider recruitment Team

- Oversight of workloads for the team including providing train, advice and guidance to the team

- Responsible for providing guidance and support on recruitment practice for Recruiting managers

- Attending Interviews with Medics providing Recruitment guidance
