Reablement, Therapy and Community Services – Riverbank and Meadow Lodge

Working within our Short break Service and Day Service based in Chippenham.

Get ready for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact! We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to contribute to our team.

To provide business support and excellent quality to our Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered respite service and Day opportunities service.

Such services need to be delivered in a business-like manner, promoting independence, responding to crisis and delivering good outcomes for people using the Think Local Act Personal principles of a good life.

The services in the Provider Services function include:

Short Break Service - Day services
The post holder will ensure that services are delivered to the highest standards, providing robust quality assurance, compliant with all legal and statutory requirements and within an effective and efficient performance management and budgetary framework.

Day Services support people with a learning disability who may in addition have complex physical / health needs, challenging behaviour, or autism (customers).

We work with customers to look at how they would like to spend their time taking part in meaningful community focused activities or activities that are completed in one of the adult care service bases.

We work with families, paid and unpaid carers to ensure that they are also involved and listened to, we will support the customer in the most appropriate way to enable them to maximise their independence.

Respite services provide overnight care for customers, providing a break for their family or unpaid carer/s. These are also based throughout the county: Bradbury Manor Devizes (10 bed unit), Bradbury House Salisbury (10 bed unit) and Meadow Lodge Chippenham (4 bed unit).

Duties include:

Linking with Team Leaders/Registered Managers to use the Oracle system to collate budget and management account information, highlighting areas of overspend against budget to them.

Create regular statistics and reports as required, including bed occupancy, staff attendance, financial reporting, establishment control, team performance data, and statutory returns.

To record and maintain petty cash disbursements for the locality and bank cheques, keeping records and arranging occasional payments.

Ensure invoices are raised as necessary.

Setting up systems to monitor performance, occupancy, establishment control & budget information (and other measures as required) against pre-set targets and support leadership team by regularly reporting on and evaluating data.

Liaise with caretakers, cleaners and tradesmen with regards to premises and vehicle issues – including maintenance and repairs, health and safety inspections, Lifting Equipment and Lifting Equipment regulations (LOLER).

Provide full administrative cover across all LD Provider services, including providing support to Heads of Service when required.

Create, process and record transport request e-forms, including resolving queries and anomalies.

Manage time and workload to ensure presence across various settings as needed.
