Summary

We require a Senior Nurse for Safety and Security, Band 6 nurse to work within our security team provides advice and management of matters of safety and security within the Gardener Unit. The role oversees and ensures systems are in in place to strengthen and maintain physical, relational, and procedural security in relation to service users, staff and environments. The post holder will report to the Gardener Unit Ward manager. There is a requirement to provide the Senior Leadership Team with regular reports, feedback and learning. The post holder is responsible for line managing a team of junior staff and the Gardener unit Receptionist.

Lead on the safety and safety on the ward. Attending team meetings, leading on security week, being a point of contact for any security queries. Delivering training, inductions, management and clinical supervisions.

Completing clinical hours on the ward, role modelling for junior members on the team. Completing audits and reporting any inconsistences to the operational team.

Candidates must have a knowledge of Medium Secure Services and/or CAMHS.
