More detail about the role Your busy day will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care and development of the children who attend First Steps Nursery to ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes, in addition to providing feedback to parents / carers. The working day is extremely rewarding and involves both child and adult-led learning where you will be an excellent role-model to all children. With a National Diploma in Early Years Childcare or equivalent, you would need to demonstrate good people skills and a knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. All current practice and care by the staff at First Steps Nursery reflects standards as outlined in the Trusts Safeguarding Children Policy, alongside the Devon Safeguarding Children Board procedures, whilst our Early Years Educators will also engage with specialist safeguarding services as and when necessary. Working Pattern: Various day shifts available Monday to Friday. All shifts must consist of the working hours 08:00 - 18:00.
