Summary

Do you have a passion to teach and share your knowledge and expertise with students?

We are looking for two inspirational Lecturers to teach, assess and co-ordinate a range of Electrical Installation courses.

You will be teaching students across a range of levels within the subject areas from Level 1 to 5 and possibly other related programmes.

The role will include the preparation, delivery and assessment of qualification units, including the development of online learning resources for identified modules. The successful candidate may also take on tutorial responsibilities for one or more groups of students. Attendance at curriculum meetings is required and there is an expectation that the candidate will fully engage in planning future activity, generating new ideas and resolving day to day challenges.

The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma teaching qualification (supported by CPD) upon appointment, an assessor award (A1/TQA/CAVA), as well as have a minimum of GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. You must also have experience of delivering lessons at a standard of 'Good' or above to enable you to teach the subject through a range of levels, possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated to provide an outstanding service to our learners.
